As part of our ongoing commitment to our patients overall foot-health we offer several services to support our treatments and help those with greater needs, these services are outlined below:

Diabetic Care

Anyone with diabetes knows that foot health is an important part of managing the condition. For diabetics an Annual Review of the nerve responses in their feet is recommended, as there is a risk of them being degraded by the disease. At Cummins Podiatry we offer an Annual Diabetic Review where our podiatrists examine your feet for obvious signs of deterioration caused by diabetes. The nerve responses in your feet are measured with a Neuropathy Screening Machine. The results can be compared year on year to monitor your ongoing foot and nerve well-being. Any changes can be swiftly addressed and the best treatment plan put in place.

Insoles

Custom insoles are also known as Orthoses. Here at Cummins Podiatry we are widely regarded for the design, build and fitting of bespoke-insoles. During a Biomechanical Assessment it will be determined if any symptoms may be relieved by wearing an insole. If insoles are required, during your appointment the podiatrist will take the necessary measurements to create your bespoke-insoles. Each insole is hand crafted here in our Lab, individually designed to offer patients a unique device to bring maximum comfort and relief to the conditions that specifically affect them. What’s more…in the future when you need fresh insoles we will have all your measurements and details on record, and often we can build your new insoles without your needing further appointments.

Home Visits

For patients who are unable to travel to our clinic we offer a Home Visits Service. John is our principal Home Visits Chiropodist and he is on the road regularly. To book a Home Visit simply contact us and we will arrange an appointment that is convenient for you.

Group Bookings

We work with care and nursing homes to provide Chiropody services to their residents. Generally we hold a clinic in the home at an agreed scheduled interval, but arrangements to visit more regularly can be made if individual patients are in need of more frequent treatment.
